Business Casual Late Summer and In Style, the Fashion Issue

Here is a great dress from Target, around $13 on sale.  It is a little below the knee in length.  With this rope of pearls, it is a great business casual choice.  I'm wearing it with Kate Spade mules, bought on sale, of course.  I'm carrying a vintage, light brown leather clutch that was my mom's with it.   It would look great with a black or light colored blazer; will see what the humidity is!

In Style has put out it's fall fashion issue.  Trending so far, Prairie dresses, like those popular during the mid seventies, great gingham and ruffle looks.  Urban and space cowboy, with the western stitching and metallic accents.  80s "Dynasty" looks are back, so are animal print Tees in reds and other colors.  Tweeds, pin stripes, plaids in red, white, and blue, they are all in for the office.

Mixed patterns and scarf looks, a la Grace Kelley and Queen Elizabeth II are in, and they are coming in all patterns and materials.  Mom's and grandma's retro print scarfs would be really hot here.

I will share more bargains and photos as I find them.  You can put together many of these looks through shopping Goodwill, DAV, Discovery, Revival, Ragstock, and other thrift stores. Fall looks fun and colorful, as colorful as the beautiful shades the leaves will take.  Go with it, and enjoy!!
