Spring bargain

I bought the above patchwork, ankle length skirt, at Target.  The subtle pinks and light browns are a popular combo this year.  Also available were sandals with straps matching this and other patchwork, calico floral prints, and matching purses.  A maxi sun dress with spaghetti straps was another option.  The cost for the skirt was 28.00.  The maxi dress cost a little over 30.00.

The Men's department featured patriotic knit shirts with short sleeves that had American flags                embroidered all over them.  Cute for either sex.

I also saw black knit skirts in varying lengths, with jewel tone knit tops, at 3/4 sleeves.  At thrift             stores, vintage hats and Vera Bradley bags are doing well.

Skirts are definitely in, too.  Layered necklaces are back, as if they were ever out.

I've done well at Marshall's with travel knit tops from Ann Taylor Loft being a big find.  Silver                 sandals, sort of flop flops with a clear base were under 15.00.  They remind me of Cinderella's             glass slippers.  A white and gold pair of driving mocs by Coach cost 38.00. Cute T-shirts in pastels         with  embroidery were 5.00 and 2.50 at thrift shops.

Lots of great jewelry is going on sale at thrift stores, Marshall's, and T.J. Maxx.  Check out antique         stores and yard sales, too.

Poshmark has all types of promotions, if you love online deals.  Don't forget to visit your own                 wardrobe archives; see what you can mix and match.
